The brief is to design an informative publication around a social issue. The chosen issue is marine plastic pollution caused by our negligence and the sheer scale of the fishing industry.
The readers are taken on a journey to learn common misconceptions of the causes of ocean plastic pollution and discover that the scale of the fishing industry is the most significant cause of marine plastic pollution; they will also learn the factors that caused the fishing industry to grow to an unsustainable scale and discover that humans are the biggest factor driving this industry. To end their journey, there is a call for action to reduce seafood intake and alternatives are offered.
